When I'm not doing Web design, Flash development or teaching, I enjoy playing music. I work with several bands, some of which appear fairly frequently, and others that perform for special occasions. I also fill in for people who are even busier than I am, and often perform solo. People keep asking me, "How do I find out when and where you're playing next?" Well, you're looking at it.

Here you'll find all the places I'll be appearing publicly into the foreseeable future, as well as past performances. All dates for my cohorts the Beaker Brothers Band (classic rock/jam band with ripping instrumentals), the John Shultz Organization (organ trio jazz), the John Shultz Trio (jazz piano trio), the Saints Dixieland Band (the best of Dixieland and 20s and 30s novelty tunes), Krewe Osgood (Mardi Gras street band) and the Moe Band (40s and 50s jump swing, R&B and New Orleans roots music) can be found on the calendar below.

Solo performances are included, spanning genres from cocktail piano stylings suitable for social and corporate gatherings to a wide range of jazz and blues from the New Orleans diaspora and beyond, as well as pop tunes and improvisational ambient music. Also on the calendar are my subbing dates and other special events.
